I will be living abroad for 2 years next year, and I dont wanna bring my amp with me. So, I was thinking whether should I buy another semi-hollow electric guitar (with soft guitar bag) or invest in a hard case and use back my old electric guitar.
Give me some opinions thanks.Should I buy a new guitar or invest in a hard case? more details inside?
if your not bringing an amp, you should obviously buy a semi-hollow guitar. or even buy an acoustic.
but i'd try to bring your amp if i were you.
cause if you bring a regular electric, with no amp, its sorta useless.
OR!
you can buy one of those acoustic guitars that you can plug into an amp. so you can play unplugged, and when you get come, you can plug it into an amp if you wish. i'd say its a good investment.Should I buy a new guitar or invest in a hard case? more details inside?
WHAT!!! You're leaving the crab farm??
Leave your guitar on the farm and invest in a new or used one when you reach your destination.
New guitars will always give you more satisfaction than a new case.
If you're up for spending 400, buy the hardshell case and one of those small practice amps for under $100, and use headphones.
How expencive is this case you are looking at cause you should never pay more than $100 for a good hard case.
